About the practice

A small practice, deliberately

We keep our client list at a size where every file gets a person's attention rather than a process. It is the reason clients stay with us for years, and the reason we can still answer the phone in March.

Accounting built around the conversation, not the lodgement

Advance Accounting and Advisory Services operates from Macquarie Fields, serving businesses and individuals across South West Sydney and the Macarthur region — and, through secure online document exchange, clients well beyond it.

The work itself is what you would expect: tax returns, financial statements, BAS, payroll, SMSF administration and audit. What clients tell us is different is everything around it. You get a fixed fee agreed before the job starts. You get an answer the same or next business day. And you get an accountant who will tell you plainly when something is a bad idea, rather than quietly processing it.

We also believe most tax problems are timing problems. A conversation in April usually saves more than any amount of clever work in October, which is why planning sessions are built into how we work with business clients rather than sold as an extra.

How we work

What you can expect from us

  • A fixed fee, in writing, before any work begins
  • One accountant across all of your entities and returns
  • Same or next business day responses
  • Reminders well ahead of every lodgement deadline
  • Secure digital document exchange and e-signing
  • An annual planning conversation before 30 June

Plain English, always

You should finish every meeting knowing what your numbers mean and what happens next. If we have not explained it clearly, we have not finished.

Fixed fees, agreed upfront

You will always know the cost before the work begins. We do not send surprise invoices for phone calls.

Compliance done properly

Aggressive positions create problems years later. We claim everything you are entitled to and document it so it holds up.

Reachable when it matters

A real person who knows your file answers the phone. Questions get a same or next business day response.

Getting started

What happens when you call

01

Free initial conversation

Twenty minutes on the phone or in the office. You tell us what is going on, we tell you honestly whether we can help and what it would involve.

02

A fixed-fee proposal

We set out the scope and the price in writing before any work starts, so there is no uncertainty about what you are agreeing to.

03

We do the work

Records collected securely, work completed to deadline, and questions answered along the way rather than saved up for the end.

04

We stay in touch

Deadline reminders, a pre-June planning conversation and a call whenever something changes in your business or the tax law.

Thinking about switching accountants?

It is easier than most people expect — we handle the ethical clearance letter and request your records directly from your previous accountant.
